TRUE LOVE IS ALL ABOUT GOD'S WAYS

True love should not be engrossed where romantic aroma odors, but should be focused in all areas of life. This is because God is love based on what He said “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love”- 1st John 4:8. God still remains to be the Father of all human races despite of different religion beliefs: His love is perpetual and immutable. How Christians love one another as brothers and sisters, should also be reflected to their counterparts of different faith because we are all human beings whom we resemble Gods image.Love is characterized by a series of elevations, in which various principles are applied. These principles are well stated in 1st Corinthians 13:4-7, where Paul said “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”.This definition has made my thought to be intertwined with one of the late Martin Luther King’s quotes to understand it in a new way that, “the ultimate measure of a person  of true love is not where they it stands in times of comfort and conveniences; but where they  it stands in times of challenges and controversy. When you read this quote try to remember some the people who hurted you and it is very hard to forget them, those who betrayed you and almost coasted your life to come to an end at some point, and those who laughed at you to an extent you became a 'fugitive': do you still hate them?  Are you still keeping the records of what they did to you? Are you still planning how you are going to revenge now that you are more successful or when you will outdo them?  Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord- Romans 12:19.We are living in times where evil is entertained so much that values of love have lost meaning, in other words they have been corrupted with flesh satisfaction. We see fornication to be a prerequisite for most couples before they get married or who are in a relationship; people taste waters first and end up in one house for a while to identify any problem areas. Just like the way the road to heaven is thin; trust me when I tell you only few people are ready to take the humble road which requires patience, perseverance, and kindness.  Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things- Philippians 4:8. True love will always be manifested based on the right things you think about others. Whatever is true, whatever is right, and whatever is pure, are not earthly ways but God’s ways.
